It was great to see so many happy, smiling faces bounding into school on Monday! The Headmaster’s start-of-term assembly was all about apples – the importance of them, what they need to ripen and how they emit ethylene which helps those next to them ripen too. The message was that we, just like apples, need a nurturing and supportive environment to develop, and that we’ll make better progress if we accept help and look out for those around us at the same time. A wonderful message to take forward into the new school year.
