Top marks for food standards

Congratulations to our entire catering team who have achieved a 5-star rating following an unannounced visit from the Food Standards Agency (FSA).

This achievement reflects their hard work, dedication, and commitment to excellence in food safety and quality.

Head Chef Stuart Yeomans, left, and Chef Pete Wakeman are both passionate about serving good quality, nutritious food. They provide a hearty two-course lunch for all day pupils, and three meals a day for boarders. In addition, fresh fruit is always available throughout the day, and parents and children enjoy delicious match teas following sports fixtures on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

“I am delighted to see the hard work of our catering team recognised,” said Headmaster Mr McCullough. “They really do care, which is reflected in the quality of food and service they provide.”
