Potwell Farm

Parents and children enjoyed a top morning at Potwell Farm Racing Stables recently. A tour of the stables and a chance to watch the horses on the gallops was crowned by a close encounter with the yard’s superstars, Regal Encore, (pictured) and stable mate, Sam Brown (owned by Perrott grandparents Tim and Monica Frost) who […]

The EYFS theme of ‘pirates’ has been a hit and the children have wasted no time in getting stuck into the new pirate ship in Mrs McCullough’s classroom – it’s is a marvel! Pupils have been working hard on their handwriting as well, […]

Featuring an array of musical performances and readings, as well as as carols in Mr Shortman’s own inimitable style (a special mention to the Headmaster for his impromptu solo!), it was a lovely festive evening next […]

Years 6-8 Book Club

Last week Years 6-8 gathered in the Loft to share their thoughts on Lisa Thompson‘s brilliant novel ‘The Goldfish Boy’. It’s a remarkable story about finding friendship when you’re lonely and sparked an interesting discussion on the debilitating effects of OCD, a condition which afflicts Matthew, the book’s central character. The children talked about how […]
