Preparatory School

Perrott Hill is a country preparatory school with a strong family ethos, educating boys and girls from ages 3 to 13. Class sizes are small, with one or two classes per year group – and we take great care to both encourage and stretch children based upon their individual needs and strengths.

Perrott Hill combines extremely high standards of academic rigour and pastoral care. The school has an outstanding record of scholarship success. In the last two years the sixty-two children leaving school at the end of Year 8 secured thirty-two awards to senior schools with scholarships being awarded for academic, artistic, sporting, dramatic, musical, equine and all-round ability.

Against a background of traditional values, we have the time and space to ensure that every child achieves their very best. Pupils are given the individual attention necessary to ensure that they flourish, whether it be: in the classroom; on the sports fields (children play games five days a week); in the music school; in the art department; during the vast array of activities on offer. We also invest time in teaching manners and the common courtesies which are so often overlooked in the rush of modern-day life.
