International Pupils

Perrott Hill has a long and happy association with international and expat families, who choose us for our excellent boarding provision and impressive academic results. Some international pupils join us for a short time (we ask for a minimum of one year but do, on occasion, agree to a term depending on the balance in the year group); others will stay and progress on to top UK senior schools.

Our talented and dedicated academic staff are well versed in nurturing and developing our international pupils and we have a thriving EAL department to ensure they make good progress across the curriculum. Our EAL teacher has an active pastoral role in supporting our international pupils during the day; the EAL classroom is a warm and welcoming place and all boarders are assigned day and boarding ‘buddies’ when they join.

Our friendly and highly experienced boarding team consists of Houseparents, Assistant Houseparents, Graduate Residential Staff and our Matron, who all work together to provide the very best boarding experience for our international pupils – with themed nights, activity weekends and regular trips. We have a dedicated quiet room for Skype/Facetime calls with parents and there is regular communication from our Head of Boarding, Mrs Ovey.
