It’s not every day a helicopter lands at Perrott Hill, but that’s exactly what happened at the end of last term when Quentin Smith flew in to talk to Years 7 and 8 about being a helicopter pilot. Known in the industry as ‘Captain Q’, he has more than 30 years of flying experience and was the first pilot to fly to both the North and South Poles by helicopter. No mean feat!
